Alan Scarfe, best known for the filmsLethal Weapon 3andDouble Impact, has died at 77.
Born in England, Scarfes family moved to Canada.
Besides his film roles, he also appeared in the TV seriesSeven DaysandStar Trek: The Next Generation.

Scarfe received the Vancouver Film Critics Circle honorary award for lifetime achievement during his career.
He was married to actress Barbara (nee March) for 40 years before her death in 2019.
He is survived by daughter Tosia and son-in-law Austin, who acted as his caregivers in his later years.
