After this encounter, Miss Divine is convinced something is amiss but doesnt pry further.

Why are these people so desperate to hide whats in the walls?
The intrigue is held together by Starrs and Caplans villainous performances that serve Devlins script well.
It just acts as just another backdoor pilot to a sequel.
Its OK to have a stand-alone ending that isnt connected to anything else.
