Derek Draper, the husband of British broadcasterKate Garrawayand the subject of ITVsFinding Derekdocumentary, has died aged 56.
Im sad to have to tell you all that my darling husband Derek has passed away, wrote Garraway.
In March 2020, he contracted Covid-19 and became seriously ill with long Covid.

He was hospitalized for a year and returned to hospital last month following his cardiac arrest.
Draper married Garraway in 2005 and they have two children.
Garraway is a well-known British broadcaster and journalist who has presented the likes ofGMTVandGood Morning Britain.
