EXCLUSIVE:DreamWorksAnimation is making cuts and slashing 4% of its staff.
DreamWorks Animationreduced its workforce by approximately 70 positions, a DWA spokesperson told Deadline in a statement.
Roles affected were across corporate functions, feature, television and technology departments as part of an overall cost-reduction.
Earlier this yearDreamWorks Animation and Netflix partnered forOrion and The Dark, an animated feature written by Charlie Kaufman.
The feature is set to drop on the streamer in 2024.
Director is Sean Charmatz, with Peter McCown producing.
Exec producers are Walt Dohrn and Bonnie Arnold.
Voice cast includes Jacob Tremblay as Orion and Paul Walter Hauser as Dark.
