Both films scored nominations in seven categories.
This years edition is open to all Arab films which premiered outside of the Arab World in 2023.

They are being voted on by a jury committee of 209 critics from 72 countries.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Arab Cinema Centre stand in Cannes on May 18.
