I repeat, Instagram is down for thousands of users on Thursday, according to an outage tracking website.
The cause of the disruptions has not been revealed.
Earlier in March, the platform was knocked offline by what was described as an internal issue.

Todays outages began around 4 PM Pacific time.
The service appeared to be back up by 7 PM Pacific for at least some users.
