Jaime Harrison made the announcement during a virtual event with Harris supporters.
Harris, who also joined the call, said that she will officially accept the nomination next week.
Its not going to be easy, but were going to get this done, she told supporters.

She also will be the first Californian to win a major-party nomination since Ronald Reagan.

Marianne Williamson, a longshot candidate who also ran in 2020, ended her bid last month.
