Lewis voiced the Male Golem in the Treehouse of Horror XVII episode in 2006.
Lewis had been living with Parkinsons disease,a diagnosis he revealed in April 2023.
Curbstar Larry David and Lewis were lifelong friends and he released a statement following the comedians death.

He had that rare combination of being the funniest person and also the sweetest.
But today he made me sob and for that Ill never forgive him.
His comedic brilliance, wit and talent were unmatched.
