He replacesJimmy Kimmel, who served since the bowl games inception.

Its Gronks turn now … Gronkowski retired after the 2018 season, but returned to reunite with Brady on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The duo won a final Super Bowl together in 2020 before Gronkowski retired again after the 2021 season.
The third 2023 L.A. Bowl will be held Dec. 16 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
Utah State beat Oregon State in the 2021 game, before Fresno State defeated Washington State in 2022.
