Day recalled theSNLmoment during a recent appearance onTheKelly ClarksonShow.
He said the sketch in question didnt even make it to dress rehearsal, but he still loved it.
He was like hosing down the carpet.
And we were a little bummed because, obviously,Home Alones a classic.
But, you know, every week theres stuff.

Day pivoted to asking Clarkson to host the show.
She quickly dismissed the idea.
I dont think Im funny like that.
I did do a couple skits one time though when I went to sing there, she said.
Clarkson performed on SNL in January 2012, marking her third appearance on the show.
