The Buzz turns out to be true.
Pixar and Disney are bringing outToy Story 5,returningTim Allenas the voice ofBuzz Lightyearin the new film.
The announcement follows last years release ofLightyear,which saw Chris Evans voice the character.

He had been voicing Buzz Lightyear since the 1995 debut of the franchise.
Tim Allen in the role that he originated, the role that he owns.
Why would they completely castrate this iconic, beloved character?
But all is apparently forgiven, and Allen posted an excitedtweeton his return.
And off we go to a number 5!
