The company will eliminate 100 employees, a spokesperson confirmedtodayto TechCrunch.
Some teams are continuing to make these kinds of organizational changes, which include some role eliminations globally.

The affected employees can apply for other positions at YouTube.
They have been given 60 days notice before the end of their current jobs.
Overall, YouTube has 7,173 employees worldwide.
Reports indicate that the cuts will come from consolidation of employees who offer support to YouTubes content creators.
